Job Description:

Our Director of Care Operations is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of a company and ensuring that all departments run efficiently and effectively. We are seeking a compassionate and experienced director to lead our care team and ensure the highest standards of care are provided to our guests.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Operational Oversight: Supervise and manage the daily operations of the facility reporting any issues/concerns to Executive Director.
  • Process Improvement: Identify and implement improvements in operational processes to increase efficiency and reduce costs.
  • Staff Supervision: Oversee and support staff, providing constructive feedback and guidance.
  • Scheduling: Coordinate scheduling of staff to ensure adequate staff consistent with guest care needs.
  • Policy Implementation: Develop and enforce company policies and procedures.
  • Strategic Planning: Work with senior management to set strategic goals and develop long-term operational plans.
  • Compliance: Ensure compliance with industry regulations and standards.
  • Performance Monitoring: Evaluate the performance of staff and implement measures to improve guest satisfaction, as needed.
  • Responsibility: The Director of Care will have 24/7 accountability/responsibility for maintaining daily operations and staffing of The Shoshana.


Qualifications:

  • Current RN license in good standing; Antepartum/Postpartum, Delivery, and/or NICU experience preferred. IBCLC may also be considered.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in a healthcare setting, with at least 1 years in a supervisory or management role.
  • Strong knowledge of postnatal and infant care.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to develop and implement effective care programs.
  • Proficiency in electronic health records (EHR) systems.
  • Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
  • Compassionate, patient-centered approach to care.
  • Must be able to work flexible hours.
  • Must be able to pass a background check.
  • Certification required.
