Agile Delivery Manager

Summary:

The Agile Delivery Manager is responsible for designing, evolving and driving adoption of delivery practices that ensure predictable outcomes. In this role you will foster good communication within and across teams, remove blockers, and shepherd our most important software initiatives to successful delivery. Essential Duties

• Designing, evolving, and driving adoption of software delivery practices which improve agility, visibility, and met expectations
• Regular training and coaching such that delivery teams become more self-managing
• Facilitating recurring meetings such as sprint planning, estimation, backlog grooming, and retrospectives
• Identifying risks, removing blockers, prioritizing, and escalating as appropriate
• Capture and report on team and project delivery performance metrics
• Participate in, and occasionally lead, meetings with internal and external stakeholders
• Identify SDLC best practices and build a culture of continuous improvement
• Coordinate between the product, engineering, and quality organizations.

Requirements

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities (KSAs):

• Minimum 5 years of experience as an Agile Coach, Scrum Master, or similar role
• Deep familiarity with various software development practices and agile practices in particular
• Ability to identify process improvement opportunities, implement changes, and measure their impact
• High degree of emotional intelligence and empathy
• Excellent communication skills
• Strong attention to detail
• Strong organizational skills
  
  

Preferred Knowledge, Skills, And Abilities (KSAs)

• BSc/BA in computer science, engineering, organizational management, or a related field
• Experience in the financial services or other highly regulated industry
• Experience managing the delivery of web applications

Salary Range: $125,000 to $140,000/year
