What you’ll do
- Collect and analyze information internally and externally to assist in the identification of firm risks, including conducting interviews and research.
- Work with the Risk Committee to evaluate and prioritize firm risks.
- Document risk management actions and processes.
- Manage tracking of action plans.
- Prepare and report findings to the Risk Committee.
- Assist in evaluating the effectiveness of the firm’s risk management program.
What you’ll bring to the table
- Juris Doctor preferred.
- Minimum 5 years experience practicing law preferred, 3 years experience in risk management or compliance required.
- Strong interpersonal skills.
- Excellent writing, editorial, and oral communication skills.
- Detail-oriented project manager with excellent organizational skills.
- Excellent time-management and multi-tasking skills and the ability to excel in a team-oriented, collaborative, and fast-paced environment.
- Ability to work successfully with all levels of the firm in a highly collaborative culture.
- May require more than 40.0 hours per week to perform the essential duties of the position.
What you can expect from us
- Competitive compensation—the salary range for this position is $140,000 to $160,000. This position is also eligible for bonus compensation on a discretionary basis. The actual salary offered for this position will be determined based on job-related, non-discriminatory factors including qualifications and experience, education, external market data, and internal equity.
