Key Responsibilities:
Tropicana Brands Group is looking for a highly qualified Integrated Business Planning Director to support our Supply Chain Planning organization to ensure the company's goals and initiatives are met. This role will have frequent interaction with commercial functions at the Executive and Senior management levels. This role leads a team of supply chain planning professionals for TBG with a focus on meeting customer requirements to drive business growth. This role is accountable for working across functions and integrating the work of different supply chain disciplines to ensure we optimize finished goods supply to meet costumer’s demand to deliver the business annual operating plan, while minimizing excess and obsolete inventory. This will require assessing supply inventory requirements, managing product flow, and ensuring company demand, supply and order fulfilment goals and KPIs are achieved.
This role will work with sales, product management, engineering, and demand planning teams to understand demand requirements and liaise with suppliers, operations, and distribution to ensure product and resources are in place to meet those requirements. It is critical that this leader collaborates with other SC leaders to communicate, root cause, and recommend solutions to constraints across the supply chain.
This role will be in the Bradenton, FL office and will require travel to the Chicago HQ or other TBG locations. The Supply Chain Planning team works with a hybrid schedule with 3 days in the office and 2 days remote. More days in the office might be required based on business needs.

Additional responsibilities include:
- Implement and stabilize IBP/S&OP and S&OE processes for TBG, including effective and efficient Demand Reviews and Supply Reviews.
- Collaborate and drive alignment with key stakeholders across the business including planning, sales, product management, manufacturing, distribution, transportation, and purchasing to execute the Integrated Business Planning process and cadence, while driving visibility of an accurate and stable demand signal, so that the supply chain team can support the business with the right inventory at the right time in the right quantities to meet our customers’ expectations
- Monitor, evaluate and influence supply chain planning process changes to synchronize information and product flows to proactively prevent supply disruptions and can quickly pivot to support new business opportunities.
- Monitors inventory levels and collaborates with the Inventory Optimization team and supply planners to ensure that inventory levels are within target to achieve service requirements for manufactured and purchased finished goods based on SKU-level forecasts, vendor performance, demand variation and customer expectations
- Collaborate cross functionally to improve forecast accuracy; understand and ensure plans are in place for customer and sales driven events outside of normal demand
- Coordinate with product management and demand planning visibility for demand and timing of new product introductions and phase outs to optimize revenue and minimize Excess & Obsolete
- Leverage Supply Review and other established forums for proactive and timely communication to senior management of potential supply chain interruptions along with possible solutions
- Participate in budget development including monthly, quarterly and annual sales projections
- Recommend and execute process and system improvements to sustain a robust Integrated Business Planning process
- Provide leadership, communication, coaching, motivation, and recognition of employees to strengthen competencies to optimize team’s and individuals’ professional growth
- Bachelor’s degree in business administration, Supply Chain or Industrial Engineering
- Must be located in Bradenton, FL or Chicago, IL surrounding area or willing to relocate for the duration of employment.
- Willingness to adapt and thrive in a blended work environment, seamlessly transitioning between remote work and in-office operations as required.
- Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without the need for employer sponsorship now or in the future
- 10+ years of hands-on combined experience in Demand Planning, Supply Planning, Inventory Management or other Supply Chain disciplines
- Previous hand-on experience leading the implementation or execution of Integrated Business Planning (IBP) process, S&OP or related business planning process
- Ability to travel 15%
- Excellent communication skills internally across levels within the organization and externally with customers
- Competency in data-driven decision-making
- Strong understanding of ERP/MRP fundamentals
- Management and team building experience
- Demonstrated problem solving skills with the ability to work with multiple priorities and challenging timelines
- Advanced working knowledge of Excel data models and/or reporting solutions and dashboards
- APICs Certification or similar is a plus
