Our client operates within a fast-paced service industry, specializing in critical infrastructure solutions. This role is 100% onsite at their headquarters in Central Pinellas and offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to the strategic and operational growth of the business. The Controller will play a key role in leading the company's accounting and financial reporting functions while partnering with senior leadership to drive business performance. Key Responsibilities
- Oversee and enhance accounting operations, including general ledger, AP/AR, fixed assets, and financial reporting.
- Manage monthly, quarterly, and annual close processes, ensuring timely and accurate financial reporting for internal and external stakeholders.
- Lead cash flow forecasting, debt management, and covenant compliance reporting.
- Support the CFO and executive leadership with financial analysis, strategic planning, and special projects.
- Drive the integration of newly acquired businesses, develop processes for scalability, and spearhead ERP system enhancements (NetSuite preferred).
- Build and lead a high-performing accounting team, fostering professional growth and collaboration.
- Maintain a robust system of internal controls and ensure compliance with GAAP and audit requirements.
- Be a key contributor to a rapidly growing organization with plans to expand its workforce significantly in the next year.
- High visibility with senior leadership, private equity partners, and the CEO.

- Competitive salary range of $130,000 to $150,000 plus bonus, and benefits including health, dental, vision, 401(k) match, and PTO.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (CPA strongly preferred).
- 5+ years of progressive accounting/financial leadership experience, ideally within private equity-backed environments.
- Industry experience in construction, distribution, or manufacturing is highly desirable.
- Proven expertise in process improvement, acquisition integration, and ERP system implementation.
- Strong communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across all levels of an organization.
- A hands-on, player-coach approach to leadership, with a focus on team development and operational excellence.
