Purpose Brands, the parent company of Anytime Fitness, LLC, Basecamp Fitness, LLC, The Bar Method, LLC, Waxing the City Worldwide, LLC, and Orangetheory Fitness, is seeking a Franchise Renewal Specialist to join its team. Summary

Through high touch communication and client relationship management, you will work closely with our existing franchisees to secure their re-investment with our brands through renewal of their Franchise Agreements and deliver successful renewal rates which contribute to positive contract lifetime value and minimize attrition for Purpose Brands. Additionally, you will be responsible for anticipating risk, identifying opportunities to streamline the process, and improve communication touchpoints with internal and external stakeholders.

Purpose/Impact: (Duties & Essential Functions)

  • Interpret the Franchise Disclosure Document and renewal terms to reinforce brand value and evolution.
  • Communicate effectively with franchisees to address objections related to contract updates, such as pricing or requirements.
  • Execute proactive pipeline management through consistent follow-ups on deliverables, timelines, and deadlines.
  • Identify risks, concerns, and opportunities, escalating issues to prevent franchise attrition when necessary.
  • Lead complex discussions, make informed decisions, and resolve issues empathetically and independently.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with teams such as Resale, Real Estate, Store Development, Construction, and Franchise Administration.
  • Prepare, distribute, and collect renewal-related documents, including Intent to Renew forms and updated entity information.
  • Process and record renewal documents, fees, and updates in the CRM system.
  • Provide regular feedback and reports to the team and other departments to ensure alignment.
  • Coordinate with the legal team to secure necessary documents for renewals and amendments.

  • Coaching, negotiation, and relationship building management skills.
  • Strong influencer with exceptional listening and communication skills (speaking, written, presentation) with an elevated level of empathy.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suites (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
  • CRM and DocuSign systems familiarity.

Background

  • Minimum 2-year college degree or higher preferred.
  • 1 - 3 years of business-related experience, sales, legal, franchise, customer success renewal or Account Management.
  • Franchise experience is a plus.
