Position Overview:

We are seeking a strategic, results-driven Account Executive to join our Enterprise Sales Team, focusing on selling B2B products and solutions to existing credit union clients in the home equity lending space. This role leverages the Challenger Sales Model, which emphasizes teaching, tailoring, and taking control of the sales process. The ideal candidate will be adept at identifying key opportunities within existing accounts, challenging the status quo, and offering innovative solutions that drive value for credit unions in a competitive home equity lending market.

Responsibilities:

  • Sales Growth & Opportunity Identification: Proactively uncover opportunities for upselling and cross-selling software solutions and products to support home equity lending and services.
  • Consultative & Insight-Led Selling: Use data-driven insights, industry knowledge, and a deep understanding of the client’s business to present tailored solutions. Position products not just as a fit for current needs, but as a way to drive business transformation, optimize lending portfolios, and enhance member satisfaction.
  • Challenger Sales Approach: Apply the principles of the Challenger Sales Model to teach clients something new about their business, tailor your approach to their specific needs, and take control of the sales conversation. Position yourself as a trusted advisor who brings insights and solutions that drive meaningful change.
  • Sales Performance & Reporting: Consistently meet or exceed sales goals by driving revenue growth and fostering customer loyalty. Track and report on all client interactions, sales progress, and key metrics using CRM tools (e.g., HubSpot), providing timely updates to leadership.
  • Account Management & Relationship Building: Develop strong, long-term relationships with senior leaders and key decision-makers at credit unions. Gain a deep understanding of their unique business needs and lending strategies to provide ongoing value and solutions.
  • Client Retention & Satisfaction: Ensure a high level of client satisfaction by delivering exceptional customer service and anticipating client needs. Address any concerns or challenges, and work proactively to ensure successful product adoption and ongoing engagement.
  • Collaboration with Internal Teams: Partner with internal teams (such as product, marketing, and customer support) to ensure the successful delivery and integration of solutions.
  • Market & Industry Expertise: Stay ahead of industry trends and regulatory changes within the home equity lending and credit union space. Use this knowledge to offer valuable, forward-thinking insights to credit union leadership, helping them navigate challenges and capitalize on new opportunities.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or related field (preferred, not required).
  • Proven track record of success in B2B sales, particularly in selling SaaS technology solutions into the banking or financial services industry.
  • Strong understanding of the banking and credit union space, including industry trends, challenges, and competitive landscape.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills, with the ability to articulate complex technical concepts to non-technical audiences.
  • Ability to work independently, manage multiple priorities, and thrive in a fast-paced, results-driven environment.
  • Willingness to travel to industry events and client meetings as needed.
  • Comfortable leading discussions with C-suite executives and building strong relationships at all levels of an organization.
