Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Senior Coordinator of LPGA Amateurs Tournaments to join our dynamic team at the LPGA Amateur Golf Association. This role is perfect for an individual who thrives in a fast-paced environment and has a passion for golf and event management. The Senior Coordinator of Tournaments will support the Senior Manager of Tournaments in the planning, coordination, and execution of all tournament-related activities, ensuring exceptional experiences for our members. This individual will work closely with leadership, members, volunteers, and external vendors to deliver high-quality events that reflect the values and standards of our organization.

Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Senior Coordinator of LPGA Amateurs Tournaments to join our dynamic team at the LPGA Amateur Golf Association. The Senior Coordinator of Tournaments will support the Senior Manager of Tournaments in the planning, coordination, and execution of all tournament-related activities, ensuring exceptional experiences for our members. This individual will work closely with leadership, members, volunteers, and external vendors to deliver high-quality events that reflect the values and standards of our organization.
Essential Duties And Responsibilities
- Support the Sr. Manager of Events in the management of the LPGA Amateurs competitions nationwide:
- Assist in the management of tournament logistics for events - pre-tournament through post-tournament
- Execute all contracts for member lodging through Hotel Planner
- Manage the updating of LPGA Amateur Hard Cards, Terms of Competitions, Policies, etc.
- Handle distribution (Logistics of Tournament Boxes) and maintain equipment/supplies inventory
- Includes inventory and resupplying T-Boxes and equipment as needed
- Become an expert in the management of Golf Genius Event Management Software for all LPGA Amateur events (Creating and updating event portal information and links as needed)
- Recruit and manage LPGA volunteers as needed for events
- Assist on Golf Genius responsibilities for all LPGA Foundation Virtual Fundraisers and tournaments
- Identify, negotiate, and contract future events with host facilities
- Support the Sr. Manager in the training, recruiting, scheduling, management, and logistics for LPGA Amateurs TOPS Committee.
- Manage the LPGA Amateur’s Virtual Community Rule of the Week postings.
- Manage and update all Microsoft Forms annually for all LPGA Amateur Events
- Oversee Chapter onboarding and inquiries for Golf Genius
- Respond to member inquiries in personal and shared inboxes
- Bachelor’s degree or other related discipline required, operations or similar environments
- Minimum of 2 years of event and tournament management experience required previous experience in golf event management is highly desirable; non-profit experience strongly preferred
- Strong communication (both written and verbal), interpersonal skills, and analytical skills required
- Strong organizational and time management skills a must; ability to manage multiple priorities with conflicting deadlines and a strong attention to detail
- Must have strong technical skills, including experience with Microsoft Office and Tournament Software (Golf Genuis)
- Able to lift 25 pounds
- Team player that embraces and celebrates the synergy of a diverse team.
- Must be presently authorized to work in the U.S. without a requirement for work authorization sponsorship by our company for this position now or in the future.
- Must be available for 8+ weeks of travel annually
