This internship position offers an opportunity to work on cutting-edge machine learning deployment solutions. You will be developing and optimizing machine learning models for edge devices using modern compilation frameworks like Apache TVM and Modular AI.

During this internship you will learn hardware-specific optimization techniques, experience state-of-the-art ML compilation framework, build proficiency in performance optimization and hardware abstraction techniques.

Job Responsibilities

  • Implement and optimize deep learning models using Apache TVM and Modular's MAX platform.
  • Create automated pipelines for model compilation targeting various hardware platforms.
  • Develop hardware-agnostic solutions for seamless deployment across devices.
  • Write efficient code in C++ and Python.
  • Optimize model inference using advanced compiler techniques.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Master's or PhD or Minimum level of education required and required field of study Masters in computer science.
  • Strong programming skills in C++ and Python.
  • Familiarity with ML frameworks (PyTorch, TensorFlow, ONNX).
  • Understanding of ML compilation frameworks (Apache TVM, MLIR, Modular).
  • Experience with ML model deployment and optimization.
  • Understanding of model quantization and compression techniques.
  • Knowledge of hardware abstraction principles and edge computing.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with CUDA Programming and GPU architecture.
  • Hands-on experience deploying ML models on embedded devices.
  • Experience with real-time inference and performance optimization.
  • Knowledge of deployment workflows and CI/CD pipelines for edge devices.

Additional Information

The current hourly rate for this position is as follows and may be modified in the future: $28 (Undergraduate Students)/$32 (Graduate Students)
