What You Will Do
- Assists the project manager in managing construction projects, to include planning, directing, coordinating or budgeting activities relating to construction.
- Assists in meeting job requirements and controlling costs by coordinating and effectively utilizing all of the resources needed on each project.
- Assists in assessing scope of work and resources required to successfully complete the project.
- Assists in verifying complete estimates for projects with detailed review of proposal specifications, drawings, take-off information, contracting, etc.
- Assists in planning, coordinating and supervising onsite functions (scheduling, engineering, material control) and providing day-to-day direction of onsite administrative staff.
- Provides technical assistance, i.e., interpretation of drawings, recommending construction methods and equipment, etc., as required. Initiate and maintain extra work estimating and issuance of change orders.
- Assists in monitoring the efficient use of materials and equipment and the contractual performance of the project.
- Assists in the administration of financial tracking systems to monitor project costs and estimates the remaining cost to complete cash flow forecasting and resource planning.
- Has responsibility and accountability for developing, implementing and executing an effective Safety and Health Program on the project.
- Performs additional assignments per supervisor’s direction.
- Working Conditions – Construction setting, travel required, full time. Must have the ability to crawl, climb, walk, reach with hands and arms, bend, kneel, crouch, stand for long periods of time, lift and hold in excess of 50lbs, talk, hear and occasionally sit. Must have the ability to withstand confined spaces and/or extreme heights while negotiating tasks safely. Subject to hot, cold, humid and wet conditions depending on location.

What We Expect
Education / Experience – Minimum high school diploma/GED and 7 years’ experience in the construction industry. Four-year degree in engineering or construction management and 10 years' experience in the construction industry preferred.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities – Shows leadership, concise execution of plans, vision of project future, and effective communication of vision to subordinates, integrity, and strong written and verbal communication skills. Effective written and verbal communication skills. Working knowledge of all applicable Caddell processes and procedures. Strong client relations skills are a must. Excellent organizational skills. Ability to use Microsoft Office suite, including Word, Excel, and Outlook.
While the salary range is typically between $69,900 - $104,900 annually, applicants are encouraged to share compensation expectations as part of the application process. Caddell honors prior experience, education, and qualifications of applicants in order to make attractive and competitive offers.
