Northern Health is seeking a Physiatrist to provide service at the University Hospital of Northern British Columbia, in Prince George, BC. The selected candidate will join an exceptionally compatible and united group of physicians who are encouraged to explore their full practice potential in our University Hospital Medical School setting.

The Hospital Provides Tertiary Rehabilitation Services In Both Highly Developed Inpatient And Outpatient Areas Across The Spectrum Of Rehab Services Including

  • Stroke
  • Brain Injury
  • Amputee
  • Multi-trauma
  • Complex Orthopaedics
  • Psychiatry
  • Medical sub-specialty areas

Well informed interdisciplinary teams are functioning at a high level, and current with developments in

  • Stroke Rehabilitation
  • Physiotherapy
  • Occupational Therapy
  • Speech Language Pathology
  • Social Work
  • Recreation Therapy
  • Chronic Pain Clinic

Compensation Type Fee-for-Service Estimated Remuneration $350,000 ++

Benefits and Incentives

Vacation Leave 6-8 weeks annually including CME May be eligible for additional remuneration in accordance with the Rural Subsidiary Agreement (RSA) including: Retention Premium 12.60% Retention Flat Fee $19,526 Relocation Funding Available $9,000-15,000 Recruitment Incentive $15,000 Other Benefits/Incentives $15,000 if relocating from outside of Canada: $12,000 if relocating within Canada but outside of BC; $9,000 if relocating within BC.
