Accounts Payable Clerk

We are offering an exciting opportunity in the Wholesale Distribution - Dur Goods industry for an Accounts Payable Clerk based in Indio, California. This role is integral to our team and involves numerous responsibilities including processing invoices, maintaining customer credit records, and managing customer inquiries. Responsibilities

• Manage and process a substantial volume of invoices weekly, maintaining high accuracy and efficiency.
• Utilize Quickbooks and Business Central 365 for various financial tasks and transactions.
• Perform account reconciliation tasks to ensure accuracy and consistency in financial data.
• Conduct regular check runs, ensuring timely and accurate payments.
• Utilize Microsoft Excel for data management and analysis, including the creation and maintenance of spreadsheets.
• Code invoices accurately to ensure appropriate tracking and categorization of expenses.
• Handle data entry tasks, ensuring that all necessary information is accurately recorded in our systems.
• Maintain and update customer credit records, ensuring accurate documentation of transactions.
• Resolve customer inquiries promptly and professionally, providing excellent customer service.
• Utilize SAP for various tasks, ensuring efficient and accurate data processing.
  
  
  

Requirements

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in an Accounts Payable Clerk role or similar
• Proven experience in the Wholesale Distribution - Dur Goods industry
• Proficient in Account Reconciliation and Accounts Payable (AP)
• Practical experience with Check Runs and Coding Invoices
• Strong data entry skills
• Expertise in Invoice Processing
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel
• Familiarity with QuickBooks
