Position Summary
Responsible for supporting the credit union’s member loan services and operations by preparing loan documentation, working with members on loan applications and/or loan renewals, and completing various back-office duties.
Duties And Responsibilities
Physical requirements are sitting and standing for a length of time. The team member is regularly required to walk, sit, reach with hands and arms, kneel, talk, and hear/listen. The team member must occasionally lift and/or move up to fifty pounds. This position requires viewing of a computer monitor for extended lengths of time.

Duties And Responsibilities
- Prepare, assemble, and verify accuracy of loan documentation for consumer, home equity and business loan closings, including accurate terms, property vesting, legal descriptions, closing dates, and signatures.
- Assist teammates and/or members with the loan application process in person, on the phone, or electronically to ensure completeness of information, including gathering required application, financial, and background information.
- Process and submit loan applications for underwriting review received through all application channels.
- Answer the telephone and provide routine information, and/or route calls to appropriate loan team members. Take messages and coordinate follow through.
- Provide administrative assistance to the lending team, including updating loan data in the credit union and 3rd party systems, processing letters, filing, and completing insurance claims, completing paid loan reports, and general support.
- Complete loan collateral releases, including mortgage satisfactions, loan payoffs requests, title and UCC releases.
- Perform a variety of clerical duties requiring knowledge of departmental procedures, including updating tracking systems and other activities.
- Ensure lending procedures are followed in compliance with the Lending policies, guidelines, and all regulations.
- Maintain up-to-date and comprehensive knowledge on all credit union products and services.
- Work with members and non-members to resolve any issues or complaints in a professional manner.
- Cross-sell lending and other credit union products and services to develop individual and business member relationships.
- Other duties as assigned.
- High school education or equivalent.
- 0-2 years of consumer, home equity and commercial loan processing experience.
- 0-2 years of lending support experience.
- Cross selling and consultative sales experience preferred.
- Bilingual-Spanish speaking preferred.
