The Sector President provides exemplary leadership to the company’s workforce at the sector level. Currently Edgewater defines its sectors based on a specific customer/market  set. This role is responsible for establishing short and long-term goals, managing budgets, ensuring the proper allocation of resources, and ensuring the sector meets its goals. The Sector President directs and oversees the execution of the sector’s operational and growth strategy, goals, objectives.  This includes managing the sector’s pipeline, growth and booking objectives as well as its operations, delivery and recruiting functions.

 

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to the following:

  • Develop, implement, and continually improve policies, processes, procedures, and systems to ensure compliance with all applicable laws and regulations, to create efficiencies, and cost savings.
  • Work with the CEO, and executive team to establish and maintain a company vision, strategy, goals and objectives that continually increases the enterprise value of the company Oversee and manage the execution and performance of all company contracts.
  • Oversee and manage the execution of the sector’s growth strategy, goals, and objectives.
  • Develop and implement strategies and plans to achieve the company’s vision, strategy, goals, and objectives.
  • Regularly inform the CEO and BOD of progress in achieving the sector’s strategy, goals and objectives
  • Work with the CFO to ensure financial stability, including P&L, budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting.
  • Represent the organization to external stakeholders, including investors, donors, and the public.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, such as customers, suppliers, and partners.
  • Monitor and assess performance against objectives and make adjustments as needed.
  • Update and revise plans to increase the sector’s profitability and progress.
  • Search for alliances, mergers, partnerships, and investment opportunities and review and advise on contracts.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.

 

  • Bachelor’s degree in business administration, finance, or related field.
  • 8-10 years of experience of executive leadership experience.
  • Demonstrated strategic leadership ability.
  • Superlative communication skills, particularly the ability to communicate as a leader.
  • Strong organizational and problem-solving skills.
  • Financial acumen and knowledge of budgeting and forecasting.
  • Demonstrated understanding of legal and regulatory requirements.
  • Previous experience with government contracts.
  • Preferred:
    • Masters degree in business administration, finance, or related field.
