Collision Estimator

We are seeking an entry-level Collision Estimator to join our team in a front-end, floater role. This position is hourly and focuses on assisting walk-in customers and providing backup support to our commissioned estimators. The ideal candidate will have strong communication skills, a willingness to learn, and an interest in growing their career in collision repair estimation. In addition, this role will involve obtaining pre-approvals from insurance companies and ensuring that estimates match initial approvals.

Collision Estimator Compensation and Benefits:

Collision Estimator Competitive Salary: $31 per hour

Generous Paid Time Off (PTO):We prioritize work-life balance, offering industry-leading PTO. New full-time employees accrue 4 hours per pay period, totaling approximately 96 hours in the first year, with increases over time.

Collision Estimator Responsibilities:

• Greet and assist walk-in customers, providing initial damage assessments.
• Prepare front-end estimates using CCCOne or Mitchel.
• Obtain pre-approvals from insurance companies and ensure that the estimates match initial approvals.
• Communicate effectively with customers and commissioned estimators.
• Learn and follow estimation and insurance requirements.
• Provide excellent customer service throughout the estimation process.
• Assist with administrative tasks as needed.
  
  
  

Collision Estimator Qualifications:

• Previous experience in a customer service and automotive-related role preferred.
• Basic knowledge of automotive repair processes is a plus.
• Proficiency with computers and ability to learn estimating software.
• Strong communication and organizational skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
