Description
Park West Master Association, a CAMS managed community is seeking a full-time Maintenance Technician/Handy Man to perform general maintenance and assist in the oversight of contractors/vendors at both the Amenity Center and Park West common area.
Hours of work: Mon-Fri, 7:30 am -4:30 pm, with the possibility of overtime and after-hours emergency calls.
Hourly Rate: Negotiable based on experience. Benefits package included, see below for more details on full benefits.

Skills
- Extensive knowledge of building and grounds maintenance
- Ability to communicate effectively with managers, coworkers, residents, guests and community leaders.
- Provide a wide range of repair work on various infrastructure, equipment, and tools.
- Identify the problem, plan a response, evaluate the solution, and resolve the problem.
- Preforming building tasks, including but not limited to carpentry, painting, plumbing, electrical, assembly, and installation.
- Knowledge of landscaping and irrigation systems.
- Ability to work with a flexible work schedule.
- Plan and schedule routine and preventative maintenance.
- Point of contact with on-site sub-contractors to make sure the work is completed correctly.
- Report to the Assistant Manager any operational concerns or issues.
- Assist in material orders, as necessary, to ensure timely completion of assigned tasks.
- Fix or repair doors, locks, fencing and other damaged items.
- Daily inspections of Amenity Center grounds, playground, clubhouse, summer kitchen, pools, and tennis courts to maintain immaculate condition.
- Quarterly Pressure washing of pool areas, outside of restroom buildings, shed and Clubhouse.
- Minimum of bi-weekly walkthrough with Assistant General Manager to discuss updates, changes, or issues.
- Daily debris removal from Tennis and Pickleball Courts.
- Weekly trash curbside for waste pick-up.
- Change bags at dog stations.
- Yearly painting of inside Clubhouse area and touch up, as necessary.
- Fence and Summer Kitchen painting touch ups, as necessary.
- Change Clubhouse HVAC filters.
- Once a month night-audit of electrical lighting.
- Maintenance at the Park West Office, as needed.
- Drive-thru Park West property daily to remove unwanted signs, report road shoulder ruts, roadkill animals and signage repair needed.
- Inspect golf Cart the multi-use paths to report any repairs, tree trimming needed and clean off areas of debris. Empty trash bags along the multi-use paths.
- Must have general construction knowledge of plumbing, electrical, HVAC, and life safety systems
- Ability to speak, read and write English
- Attendance and punctuality are essential
- Must have excellent communication skills to provide the highest quality of customer service
- Must have general knowledge of swimming pool operation
- Must be knowledgeable and skilled with the use of various hand power tools, lift heavy objects, and climb ladders of varying heights
