Payroll Processor

Location: North Richland Hills, TX (On site) | Type: Full Time | Pay: $25 - $28

Position Overview: We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Payroll Processor with extensive knowledge of ADP systems to manage and execute payroll functions efficiently. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of payroll procedures, tax regulations, and have the ability to work accurately under tight deadlines. As a Payroll Processor, you will ensure accurate and timely payment of salaries, wages, and other forms of compensation, maintaining compliance with all relevant laws and company policies.

Responsibilities

Payroll Processing:

• Accurately process bi-weekly, semi-monthly, or monthly payrolls using ADP systems.
• Calculate wages, overtime, bonuses, and other forms of compensation based on employee work hours and company policies.
• Ensure all payroll transactions are processed accurately and timely.
  
  

Tax And Compliance

• Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local payroll, wage, and hour laws and best practices.
• Prepare and file payroll tax reports, including quarterly and annual filings.
• Stay current on changes in payroll regulations and update processes accordingly.
  
  

Employee Records Management

• Maintain and update employee payroll records in ADP, including new hires, terminations, and changes in status.
• Ensure accurate data entry and management of employee personal and job-related information.
  
  

Benefits Administration

• Coordinate with HR to ensure accurate deductions for benefits, retirement plans, and other payroll-related items.
• Handle employee inquiries regarding payroll and benefits deductions.
  
  

Reporting And Reconciliation

• Generate and distribute payroll reports to management as required.
• Reconcile payroll prior to transmission and validate confirmed reports.
• Assist in preparing financial reports and statements related to payroll.
  
  

Issue Resolution

• Investigate and resolve payroll discrepancies and issues promptly.
• Respond to and resolve employee payroll-related questions and concerns.
  
  

System Optimization

• Identify opportunities to improve payroll processing systems and procedures.
• Assist in the implementation of new payroll solutions and system upgrades.
  
  

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field preferred.
• Proven experience as a Payroll Processor or similar role.
• Proficiency with ADP payroll systems is a must.
• Strong understanding of payroll practices, tax laws, and regulations.
• Excellent numerical and data entry skills.
• Attention to detail and accuracy.
• Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information.
• Strong organizational and time management skills.
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
