Job Title: Business Analyst

Duration: ~18 months

Location: Hybrid (2-3 days onsite per week) out of either Jaxsonville, FL, or Charlotte, NC

Required Pay Scale: ~$50/hr.

Job Summary:

1. 4+ years business analyst experience
2. Experience with Agile methodology, including creating/refining stories in Jira
3. Ability to translate business requirements from stakeholders into technical requirements for development team

Scope of Work:
Daily responsibilities include:
- maintaining items on internal work queue
- investigating new work requests
- facilitating meetings with stakeholders to understand business requirements
- creating Jira stories, maintaining backlog
- meeting with development team to ensure no disconnect between business and technology

Other Skills:
• Proven ability to translate business requirements into technical data requirements for developers
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Detail oriented with the ability to handle a variety of tasks
• Highly organized with the ability to prioritize work, manage complexity and deliver solutions on deadlines
• Great analytical, critical thinking and problem-solving abilities
• Ability to work with the stakeholders to understand the concerns, risks and issues
• Ability to act as a liaison between business and technology teams
• Demonstrated passion for intellectual curiosity and accuracy
• Advanced Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Visio and SharePoint) skills

Project Details:

• Team is responsible for the technology solutions necessary to adhere to the ever-evolving data privacy law landscape, whether those solutions are developed in-house or are vendor-provided. Within that space, our team acts as a centralized location for new incoming requests, gathering requirements for those requests, and working to incorporate the solutions into an overall data privacy technology strategy
  

Position Summary:
The individual will assess policies, procedures and operations to ensure the organization meets privacy requirements. They will work with stakeholders to determine requirements derived from privacy legislation. Individuals in this role will collaborate between a variety of groups to manage workflow from privacy requirements to technical deliverables. Individuals in this role possess a working knowledge of the business/technical domain and the main applications within that domain
