We are seeking a rockstar marketer to join our team in Napa, CA. This role will work closely with the Senior Brand Manager to support the development and execution of marketing strategies across DTC, trade and consumer channels for Butter Wines and JaM Cellars. Role Overview

The Marketing Coordinator will work closely with the Senior Brand Manager to plan, execute and optimize marketing strategies that drive growth. This role will be primarily focused on supporting direct-to-consumer (DTC) marketing channels in addition to event marketing across DTC, Consumer, and Trade for Butter Wines and JaM Cellars.

Key Responsibilities

Brand Support

  • Maintain and enforce brand guidelines across all channels to ensure a cohesive brand image.
  • Represent Butter Wines & JaM Cellars as a brand ambassador in internal and external communications and events.
  • Contribute to category and competitor intelligence for the brand.
  • Participate in multi-year, annual and quarterly strategic marketing planning, focused on DTC marketing with insights and ideas across destination, wine club, eComm, direct sales, hospitality and events.

DTC Marketing

  • Drive visits and online sales for JaM Cellars through initiatives such as email marketing, organic and paid social, PR, paid advertising, and partnerships (e.g. Visit Napa Valley).
  • Develop and execute social marketing strategies, including creative planning, content development and photoshoots to support DTC communications.
  • Collaborate with the PR agency on earned media, influencer partnerships, and media visits.
  • Manage and optimize paid media channels like Yelp, PPC, and social to increase awareness, drive traffic and visits.
  • Lead JaMSession live music promotions across web, social, print, PR and partner networks.
  • Support social listening and consumer engagement across social, email and text.
  • Coordinate local marketing efforts, including JaM Cellars Ballroom and JaM Cellars Presents initiatives.
  • Additional responsibilities and projects as needed to support evolving business priorities.

Event Marketing

  • Plan, coordinate and execute events across DTC, Trade and National Consumer for both Butter Wines and JaM Cellars, including sponsorships and philanthropy initiatives.
  • Collaborate with internal teams and external agencies to ensure seamless event delivery, from concept to execution, including event logistics, timelines, and deliverables.

Reporting And Optimization

  • Maintain and update the brand dashboard and monthly summary, tracking key metrics, analyzing performance, and recommending optimizations.
  • Assist in preparing monthly and quarterly executive reports and presentations, providing insights to support strategic decision-making.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications, business, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 1-3 years of experience in marketing, preferably in the wine and spirits industry; DTC experience desired.
  • Strong organizational and project management skills, with the ability to handle multiple tasks and deadlines simultaneously.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to interact with various teams and external partners.
  • Fluent across Consumer, Trade and DTC marketing channels and media.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word) and marketing tools such as Google Analytics, social media platforms, Meta advertising and email marketing.
  • Familiarity with marketing tools such as Mailchimp, RedChirp and WineDirect is highly sought after.
  • Attention to detail and a strong ability to follow through on projects.
  • Curiosity and passion for the wine and spirits industry and brand marketing.
  • Willingness and ability to travel up to 20% as required.
