Essential Duties And Responsibilities

• Perform hydraulic cylinder repair
• Build hydraulic hoses
• Perform hydraulic cylinder repair
• Hydraulic hose repair and maintenance
• Perform repairs and maintenance on specialty attachment equipment.
• Perform general maintenance of shop tools, equipment, and specialized attachments.
• May be required to weld, cut, paint, and/or grind various raw building materials.
• General assembly work that may require operating automated machinery and various power/hand tools.
• Perform diagnostic inspections and annual certifications as directed.
• Transfer supplies and equipment between storage and work areas by hand or by use of a shop forklift.
• Inspect all parts and equipment in order to properly report defective material or questionable component conditions to management.
• Maintain complete and detailed working records for time, parts, supplies and outside purchase for repairs.
• Responsible for ensuring the cosmetic appearance meets company requirements upon completion of repair(s) for specialized attachments.
• Load/unload trucks picking up or delivering supplies.
  
  

Education, Experience And Requirements

• 2 years’ experience in mechanically diagnosing, repairing and maintaining various types of hydraulic hoses and cylinders.
• Diesel Mechanic degree or certificate preferred
• High School diploma or equivalent
• Experience with hydraulic cylinder repair and maintenance.
• Experience operating hydraulic machines
• Ability to follow directions, prioritize and multi-task.
• Ability to read and understand technical and service manuals.
• Ability to read schematics (both hydraulic and electrical).
• Must provide own “hand” tools.
