Reporting to the President and Chief Executive Officer, this position is responsible for providing administrative support to the President to successfully carry out the duties and responsibilities of the position and to ensure the smooth and efficient operation of the hospital administrative office, including coordination of secretarial coverage. This position performs a variety of highly confidential and technical duties requiring the exercise of initiative and independent judgment. Schedules meetings, takes minutes and responds to patient, visitor, physician and management inquiries, and regularly interprets and applies laws, rules, policies and written instruction.

Education/Training/ Experience
Qualifications
- Three years' experience in an Executive Assistant role reporting to a Chief Executive Officer in a healthcare setting preferred.
- Bachelor's degree preferred.
- Skills in business correspondence, use of correct language/grammar, spelling and punctuation, modern office practices and procedures, record-keeping systems and office equipment operations.
- Proficient with Word Perfect, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook and other software programs, as applicable.
- Ability to take and transcribe minutes and compose memos.

Education/Training/ Experience
- Associates degree in business or related field, or five (5) years’ direct experience in lieu of degree.
- Proven experience in an administrative role supporting a C-Suite leader: Three (3) years required.
- Strong computer literacy, including proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint).
- Exceptional customer service skills with a professional demeanor
- Ability to handle sensitive information with confidentiality
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively
- Experience in project coordination preferred
