Temp to Hire position.
Part-time hours with the ability to work 9am to 4pm (with one hour unpaid lunch) on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays. This mostly remote position requires someone who is self-motivated and able to come into the NY office as needed. Currently, we anticipate the need for in office work to be one day week. Must work in the NY office any day a NY employee starts their assignment for in person onboarding as needed, which are usually on Mondays.
Position Summary: To provide all HR team members critical support in daily administrative functions and project work, while providing improvements and efficiencies in day-to-day operations, all while maintaining strict confidentiality requirements. This role is primarily to support the administrative needs of the recruitment and onboarding process and to administer the education reimbursement and bonus award program to benefit eligible employees.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Assist with coordinating candidate interviews as well as preboarding tasks including background checks, employment and education verification and references and other recruitment needs. Run annual MVR reports on all employees assigned a company vehicle.
- Handle all onboarding tasks including I9 processing and scheduling new hire and benefit orientations with HR Team members and new staff. Coordinate all onboarding needs including any ID card appointments as well as notifications to IT for equipment needs and set up.
- Set up new users on Gradifi, Paycom Learning and reconcile headcount report with periodic updates to Org Chart when requested
- Process all tuition reimbursement and certification rewards in accordance with the Companys Education Reimbursement Policy.
- Participates in special projects and performs additional duties as required.
Education and Experience:
- High school diploma required.
- 1-2 years in an administrative support role required, preferably with a proven history of handling confidential information securely.
- Proficiency in office 365 required.
- Experience utilizing an HCM preferred.

- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with an ability to build partnerships and establish rapport at all levels.
- Excellent organizational skills and ability to multitask with multiple stakeholders simultaneously on administrative support needs.
- Ability to complete work with a sense of urgency, insuring efficiency and accuracy.
- Proactive minded with a willingness to assist beyond the scope the responsibilities.
The salary range for this role is $19.40/hr - $28.30/hr. The listed annual salary range posted for this position is subject to change and may vary depending on performance, education, experience, skills, geographic location, travel requirements, demonstrated proficiency in the competencies required for the role and business needs. Base pay is just one component of GNYs total compensation package for employees. Other rewards include eligibility for an annual discretionary bonus based on performance.
