Transport Driver

Campers Inn RV is looking for a Transport Driver. This role is responsible for transporting towable and motorized RVs to various locations.

This position is based out of Jacksonville, FL.

Essential Job Functions

• This is a safety sensitive role
• Safely operate a vehicle to transport RVs to and from Campers Inn stores, customer locations or other sites as needed
• Communicate with dispatch to coordinate deliveries and pick ups
• Communicate effectively with customers for deliveries and pick ups
• Ability to maintain paperwork related to pick up and drop offs
• Some travel outside of the Jacksonville, FL area may be required

Qualifications

• Education:
• High school diploma or equivalent is required
• License & Certifications:
• Valid driver’s license and good driving record is required
• Experience:
• Minimum of two years of towing or transport experience is preferred
• Abilities:
• Ability to drive the company vehicle
• Ability to perform standardized safety checks
• Ability to operate towing equipment
• Ability to use basic tools
• Ability to stoop, bend, and sit for long periods of time
• Ability to reach above shoulders and lift a minimum of 50 pounds
