Relationship Associate

The Relationship Associate I is a member of the Client Practice Team and is responsible for providing individualized service that meets the unique needs of each TCI Wealth Advisors clients and overwhelms their expectations. The Relationship Associate I will be responsible for fostering client relationships, prioritizing client needs, troubleshooting, and resolving client issues and partnering with internal and external partners to deliver an exceptional client experience. The position requires exceptional attention to detail, the ability to multitask, prioritize, and manage time appropriately to accommodate multiple requests at once. The position requires excellent communication skills and the ability to work with different groups and work styles.
Responsibilities:
- Maintain and grow client relationships with proactive outreach and interaction
- Manage client requests – money movement, RMDs, gifting, etc.
- Follow established processes and workflows to ensure client service needs are being met with excellence
- Manage client information in TCI systems and ensure proper documentation of all client interactions
- Working with client’s other trusted professionals (CPA, Attorney, etc.)
- Partner with internal and external partners to enhance the client experience
- Onboard and educate new clients and channel client data to other team members to enable all team members to provide excellent client service
- Initiate client related tasks to be completed by other members of the Client Practice Team
- Provide excellent client service from initiation and throughout client/advisor relationship by serving as a liaison between Advisor and client, promptly troubleshooting and resolving client issues, managing client meetings, etc.
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:
- A Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Finance, or a related degree
- 0 – 2 years experience in financial services, preferably in an RIA environment
- Proficiency in Microsoft Applications including Word, Excel, PowerPoint & Outlook
- Previous experience with Client Relationship Manager (CRM) software preferred
