SUMMARY:

Responsible for ensuring all beverage areas are deep cleaned and maintained in a clean and sanitary manner.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following:

  • Ensures compliance to standards set by management in cleaning public and service area bar floors.
  • Cleans mats, beer coolers, counters and bar counters.
  • Deep cleans reach in refrigerators and walk in coolers which includes shelves, walls, vents, floors.
  • Deep cleans glass washers and ice bins/units, ensuring all parts are taken apart, cleaned, and replaced correctly.
  • Sweeps, mops, and power washes (as necessary) all bar areas and beverage storage areas, including under coolers and countertops.
  • Assists to maintain liquor and beer storage areas organization and cleanliness.
  • Keeps work area clean and sanitary.
  • Complies with standards of health, safety, and sanitation.
  • Understands the use and proper storage of chemicals on property.
  • Utilizes deep cleaning equipment when necessary.
  • Maintains knowledge of sanitation, dishwashing, maintenance, and safety standards.
  • Assists with all other deep cleaning projects as assigned.

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE:

High school diploma or G.E.D.

SPECIAL QUALIFICATIONS:

This position requires a Level 4 Gaming License.

LANGUAGE SKILLS:

Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos. Ability to write simple correspondence.

MATHEMATICAL SKILLS:

Ability to perform basic math skills: addition, subtraction, division and multiplication.

REASONING ABILITY:

Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed but uninvolved written or oral instructions. Ability to deal with problems involving a few concrete variables in standardized situations.
