Description

Job Summary:

As an Inventory Control Associate, you'll play a pivotal role in maintaining accurate inventory records and ensuring seamless supply chain operations. Attention to detail, strong analytical skills, and proficiency in inventory management software are key to success in this role.

What You’ll Do (including, But Not Limited To)

  • Receive incoming shipments, verify contents against documents, and inspect for damages or discrepancies.
  • Accurately record inventory transactions in databases or inventory management systems.
  • Conduct regular quality checks to ensure product integrity and compliance with standards.
  • Generate inventory reports, including stock levels, discrepancies, and trends, to facilitate decision-making and planning.
  • Investigate and resolve inventory discrepancies, such as stock shortages or overages, in a timely manner.
  • Identify opportunities for process optimization and efficiency improvements in inventory management procedures.
  • Ensure adherence to inventory control policies, procedures, and regulations, including Food Safety and USDA Regulations.
  • Other duties as needed/required.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent; additional education in logistics, supply chain management, or related field is a plus.
  • Prior experience in inventory control, warehouse operations, or related roles preferred.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy in inventory tracking and data entry.
  • Excellent organizational and multitasking skills.
  • Good verbal and written communication skills.
  • Proficiency in using inventory management software, Microsoft Excel, MS Outlook.
  • Ability to lift and move heavy items, as well as stand, bend, and reach for extended periods in a warehouse environment.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and contribute to a positive work culture.
