Description

Pay: $14.00/hour (May hire at a higher rate depending on experience)

Schedule: Monday - Friday (9am-5pm)

Essential functions of this job include, but are not limited to:

  • Performs testing procedures on urine specimens.
  • Ensures chain of custody guidelines are followed at all times.
  • Accurately maintains quality control and maintenance of drug testing instruments and alco-sensor equipment.
  • Maintains laboratory equipment (cleaning, calibrating, repairing) and accurately completes all necessary paperwork.
  • Effectively performs office or clerical duties when necessary (i.e., filing, answering the telephone, and performing accurate data entry related to reporting test results).
  • Ensures adequate laboratory supplies are available.
  • Participates in Proficiency Testing.
  • Assists Drug Testing Coordinator with training employees on urine collection and alco-sensor policies and procedures.
  • Assists Drug Testing Coordinator with various duties and/or projects.
  • Maintains cleanliness of laboratory.
  • Accurately prepares chemical solutions according to manufacturer’s standards and in accordance with requirements set by applicable regulatory agencies.
  • Picks up and delivers laboratory specimens to designated work areas.

Qualifications: High School diploma or equivalent required. Prior UDS lab experience desired. Must have the ability to effectively work with Agency employees and outside contacts.
