Position Summary
The Safety Manager is responsible for creating, implementing and leading the Fives Intralogistics safety effort for our Assembly Shop, Job Sites and overall employee population. Our business is in a high growth industry serving some of the leading global postal, parcel, e-commerce and shipping industries and we have a vision for significant future growth. ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
Safety Coordination:
- Ensure the development, implementation and updating of required written safety and health programs and plans. These may include, as needed:
- Hazard Communication Program Exposure Control Program (Blood borne Pathogens, TB)
- Hazard Assessment and Personal Protective Equipment Program (PPE)
- Respiratory Protection Program Chemical Hygiene Plan (including Lab Safety)
- Hazard Communication Program Lockout/Tag out (LOTO)
- Emergency Action Plan
- Job Site Training Program

- Education and/or Experience
Bachelor’s Degree preferred; five years’ experience preferred.
Construction and/or Manufacturing industry experience preferred
- Language Skills
Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations. Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals. Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers and the general public.
- Mathematical Skills
Ability to work with mathematical concepts such as probability and statistical inference. Ability to apply concepts such as fractions, percentages, ratios, and proportions to practical situations.
- Reasoning Ability
Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions. Ability to interpret an extensive variety of technical instructions in mathematical or diagram form and deal with several abstract and concrete variables.

- Travel
Travel may be required up to 20%.

TRAINING REQUIREMENTS:
- OSHA – 30 Hour Course
- DUPONT STOP or other behavioral safety course
