What We're Looking For:

What You'll Do:
This is a Full-Time Hourly Supervisory Position
As a Store Manager, you will lead, coach, and support your team to provide exceptional service and guidance to our customers. You'll oversee the daily operations of the store, including business performance, product management, and ensuring your team has the tools to succeed. In this key role, you'll represent the GNC brand by offering expert product knowledge and promoting our "Live Well" message to customers.
Key Responsibilities:
- Responsible for ensuring products are merchandised according to GNC standards while keeping products easy to see and buy.
- Support the total shopping experience, including visual and operational elements, current sales initiatives, and fostering customer relationships that lead to sales and repeat business, e.g., MYGNC Rewards.
- Achieve and exceed personal sales and productivity goals, while helping sales associates realize their sales potential.
- Build strong teams and demonstrate leadership and managerial skills, such as providing ongoing feedback to store associates, recruiting, hiring, and performance management.
- Open, close, and operate the retail facility, including cash handling, inventory counting, and deposits according to GNC procedures.
- Attend community fairs, conferences, meetings, and other public gatherings to promote the organization's mission and initiatives.
Environmental Factors & Working Schedule:
- Must be able to stand or walk for up to eight hours a day.
- Frequent reaching, bending, and twisting below the waist and above shoulder level.
- Repetitive hand-to-finger motions and reaching with hands and arms required.
- Frequently lifting up to twenty pounds, occasionally lifting up to 40 pounds, and pushing/pulling up to 20 lbs.
- Climbing ladders, reaching, and bending are required.
- Work in temperatures ranging from 50 - 85 degrees, especially in stock room areas.
- Use of a computer up to 60% of the time throughout the day.
Store Managers are expected to work five (5) days / forty (40) hours a week with the following guidelines:
- Managers of mall and strip center stores must work at least two nights during the week until closing, one weekend night, and one other night.
- Strip center managers must also work a full shift on Saturdays.
- Mall managers are expected to work peak business days, including weekends (Saturday & Sunday).
- Managers are expected to work a minimum of one full Sunday per month.
- Downtown store managers must work during the lunch hour of 11am to 2pm Monday through Friday and one night per week until closing if the store is open in the evening. Downtown store managers are not required to work Saturdays.
- Managers are expected to work all major U.S. holidays that the store is open.
