The position of Region President – Midwest will be based out of our Naperville, IL location!
Summary
Senior Vice President, Region President is accountable for developing and directing multi-banner strategic efforts to improve market penetration and ensure the profitable growth of electrical products. Region President is responsible for directing and overseeing the planning, attainment and monitoring of financial and non-financial objectives within the assigned geographic area. Regional President is responsible for the development of budgetary goals and ensuring they are closely monitored and achieved. Region President will work closely with the Division President, other Region Presidents, and the Functional leadership team to drive business operational strategies designed to deliver business optimization through increased digital adoption and data driven pricing to accomplish the goal of being the #1 electrical distributor.

What You’ll Do
- Collaborate with Division President and senior leadership team in setting and driving organizational vision, strategy, and digital adoption for their Region and the company
- Maintains ownership of region P&L
- Develop the Region's short- and long-term goals and strategies and ensure that business processes and operational controls are in place to support those goals and strategies
- Oversee and direct activities of multi-banner region to ensure profitability, sales optimization, and employee productivity, building a highly inclusive culture that ensures team members can thrive and organizational outcomes are met
- Direct multi-banner region sales strategies, market growth opportunities, ensuring optimal allocation of all banner resources, process changes and improvements, and operational procedures; evaluates the effectiveness of such strategies
- Ensures effectiveness of procurement processes and plays a key role in the development and monitoring of the Company’s supplier relations program for electrical products
- Identifies and evaluates new market opportunities, as well as recommends pricing strategies for electrical products
- Maintains awareness of market evolution, competitors’ strategies and ensures rapid adaptation to changing market conditions
Education & Experience
- Bachelor’s Degree preferred
- 15+ years related experience in the industry, including ten (10) years in a management capacity, or the equivalent combination of education and experience
- Experience in distribution, sales and marketing
- Proven track record of managing outstanding performance in a complex organization
- Proven track record of managing complex budgets successfully
- Demonstrated senior leadership experience
- Significant industry knowledge
- Strong business acumen specifically within the area of sales, operations, and marketing
- Ability to drive strategic direction
- Be a clear thinker: Make decisions with speed and accuracy based on best available information and communicate priorities clearly and concisely with good written and verbal communication skills
- Show integrity: Accepting and adhering to high ethical, moral, and personal values in decisions, communications, actions, and when dealing with others
- Be adaptable/flexible: Being open to change in response to new information, different or unexpected circumstances, and/or to working in ambiguous situations
