Job Description Summary
This position will support the federally and state-funded research and knowledge translation projects to the Center for Rehabilitation Research in Neurological Conditions (CRRNC). Under limited supervision, the candidate will be responsible for a variety of research activities related to spinal cord injury (SCI), multiple sclerosis (MS), stroke, and other disability related research grants. Duties will include contributions to overall data collection, processing, management, analysis, dissemination, and other activities as needed by the team.

Job Description
This position will support the federally and state-funded research and knowledge translation projects to the Center for Rehabilitation Research in Neurological Conditions (CRRNC). Under limited supervision, the candidate will be responsible for a variety of research activities related to spinal cord injury (SCI), multiple sclerosis (MS), stroke, and other disability related research grants. Duties will include contributions to overall data collection, processing, management, analysis, dissemination, and other activities as needed by the team.
Job Duties
30% - Assist with data entry processing: Assists with the of data collection for research studies. Provides support to the overall team by spending a modest portion of time entering data and conducting verification procedures with other data entry to ensure its accuracy and utility.
30% - Under supervision, creates initial regulatory submissions and annual reports to Federal regulatory authorities and funding agencies (NIH, FDA, etc.). Completes IRB and/or Sponsor reportable events. Develops and submits amendments to the IRB.
30% - Development of materials for dissemination and knowledge translation: The assistant will assist in the development of materials for dissemination directly to stakeholders based on research findings from our studies. This will include the identification and summary of relevant research. The assistant will assist with the development newsletters, research briefs, research alerts, and other materials intended for our stakeholder audience.
5% - Leadership: Participates in team meetings, encourages, and supports colleagues in completing project work, assists with identifying efficiencies and improving processes and provides assistance with activities.
5% - Data organization and analysis: Stores databases and study documents in secure places, performs quality checks and preliminary analyses, assists in the development of PowerPoints and posters for presentations and manuscripts for publications.

Minimum Requirements: A bachelor's degree and one year of relevant program experience.
