The Role

You will lead the Solution Consulting organization across North America and Europe, providing leadership and direction to Veeva’s R&D and Commercial Solution Consulting teams. We are looking for a leader to bring an informed perspective on how to scale the organization during a time of continued rapid growth and change. The right candidate will have previously led a pre-sales organization at a large and respected software company.

This role reports to the global head of Sales Operations and will be a part of the Sales Operations Leadership Team. This is an exciting opportunity to join Veeva in a high-impact, high-visibility role that will be key to achieving our goal of doubling revenue by the end of the decade.

What You'll Do

  • Manage a team of up to 100 Solution Consultants and leaders across North America and Europe supporting Veeva’s core business lines in R&D, Commercial, and MedTech
  • Work closely with sales leadership to set the strategy for the Solution Consulting organization
  • Define and build a technical platform Solution Consulting function in North America and Europe
  • Work closely with Proposal Team leadership to optimize the process for responding to customer requests
  • Serve as a member of the Sales Operations Leadership Team helping to drive decisions and set the direction across the broader organization
  • Assess and refine the operating model of the Solution Consulting Organization to incorporate new tools and techniques for working with our customers in a globally distributed and often remote environment

Requirements

  • 10+ years working in an enterprise software environment
  • 5+ years leading a Solution Consulting team at a SaaS company
  • Demonstrated track record of hiring and retaining high performers
  • Experience setting organizational strategy and leading through change
  • Technical Leadership in the form of strong knowledge of tools and data used in the presales and selling process
  • US-based – strong preference for Eastern or Central time zones to maximize overlap with the European team

Nice to Have

  • Experience managing teams across the US and Europe
  • Experience as a software engineer, architect, consultant, or equivalent skills – early career experience in these areas OK

Compensation

  • Base pay: $175,000 - $300,000
  • The salary range listed here has been provided to comply with local regulations and represents a potential base salary range for this role. Please note that actual salaries may vary within the range above or below, depending on experience and location. We look at compensation for each individual and base our offer on your unique qualifications, experience, and expected contributions. This position may also be eligible for other types of compensation in addition to base salary, such as variable bonus and/or stock bonus.
