Hart House is a long-term residential recovery home providing a 24 hour structured rehabilitative environment for pregnant and/or parenting women recovering from drug and/or alcohol addiction. The program aims to provide women with the skills necessary to maintain their sobriety and the education, skills, and guidance to be effective, nurturing parents. Services include individual, family, and group therapy, parenting education and more. The Recovery Specialist position is a great opportunity for someone who seeks to be a positive presence in the lives of those who are struggling with addiction.

- Schedule - Sunday-Thursday, 3:30pm-12am, 40 hours
The Recovery Specialist’s Responsibilities Are:
- Providing support to women & families throughout the stages of their recovery
- Collaborates with the Clinical Supervisor and fellow colleagues to ensure client progress
- Searches client belongings on admission and at discharge, or as otherwise directed by supervisor
- Completes all necessary checklists, shift documentation and record keeping in a timely manner in accordance with agency policies and procedures
- Observes and supervises buildings and grounds
- Provides transportation to families as necessary
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
- Experience working with substance use population is preferred
- Valid MA Driver’s License in good standing preferred
