Software Engineering Lead
Specialist I - Software Engineering
You Are:
UST is searching for a Software Engineering Lead who will catalog internal and external data assets and systems in Collibra leveraging Edge, Collibra connectors and API’s.
The Opportunity:
- Hybrid: In office/remote
- Collect, validate, and manage large datasets to ensure data integrity and accuracy.
- Build, configure, consume, and maintain bi-directional API connectivity between Collibra and other systems.
- Build and enable data profiling and lineage analysis to visualize relationships, and dependencies.
- Develop and maintain data management processes using Collibra Workflows, ensuring compliance with data governance standards.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and implement data management solutions using C#, SQL, Rest APIs to meet organizational needs.
- Develop and maintain comprehensive metadata repositories to document data assets, definitions, and usage, as well as data dictionaries, models, and workflows.
- Establish a process around maintaining data documentation, including data dictionaries, models, and workflows.
- Manage the 'Data Marketplace' to facilitate easy access and utilization of data assets by authorized users.
- Provide support and training to end-users on data management tools and best practices.

What You Need:
- Ideal candidate has strong engineering experience working in a multi-faceted project and has hands-on experience on Collibra development work using workflows, APIs, and setting up marketplace.
- Strong software engineering skills with hands on experience with integration and building custom applications.
- Strong C# skills (freeform writing and reading) and understanding how to write/read business requirements.
- Familiarity with SQL Server
- Strong analytical skills with high attention to detail and accuracy
- Experience with REST API on Azure
- Familiar with Azure Web Service, SQL Managed instance and Storage Accounts
- Collibra ranger certification preferred.
Benefits
