ABOUT THE POSITION

- Become familiarized with the company's proposal process and work with the Business Development, Operations and any other appropriate internal teams to make any necessary tailoring with respect to the size and scope of the opportunity.
- Ensure proposal compliance with all RFI/RFP requirements in all proposal sections.
- Responsible for searching out, understanding, and verbally articulating the detailed analysis of requests for proposals/information/questions and other documents.
- Prepares operational, technical, and cost proposals.
- Collaborates with management and subject matter experts to develop a high quality, winning proposal and develop/win new strategic opportunities.
- Lead the preparation and delivery of all proposal sections, plans, and specifications.
- Ensure proposal deadlines and deliverables are met, including scheduling kick-off meetings and managing timelines.
- Prepare status reports and briefings for higher-level management. Once the proposal is submitted, the Proposal Manager shall support the following activities as requested:
- Technical clarifications
- New, updated proposal submissions
- Oral preparation, briefing slides, and presentation reviews and feedback
- Document all proposal lessons learned
- Coordinate all RFI/RFP activities, as needed
- Other duties may be assigned.
Position Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree required
- A minimum of five years' experience contributing to, writing and/or managing proposals in the healthcare industry.
- Excellent written, verbal communication and collaboration skills
- Strong analytical and critical thinking skills
- Ability to lead a small proposal team

General Areas of Accountability:
Must conduct business and personal affairs in a manner that is always a credit to the company. Must maintain a good credit rating while employed with the company.
HIPAA and Privacy:
- Follow HIPAA guidelines for protecting the privacy and security of sensitive personal and/or health information.
- Follow Signature expected acceptable use to protect propriety and company owned information.
- Complete annually required Privacy and Security Training
Performance Management:
- All Signature Performance associates are subject to regular performance management to determine if skills and training requirements are suitable for the position.
Machines and Equipment:
The incumbent must be able to effectively operate the current computer system, telephone system, and other office machines such as copiers and fax machines.
Physical Activity:
- The incumbent must be able to finger, grasp, feel, see, sit, hear, and speak. This position is sedentary in nature with minimal lifting requirements.
Working Conditions:
The incumbent works in an office environment that is not substantially exposed to adverse environmental conditions such as heat, cold, or extreme noise. Routine periods of being on the phone utilizing a headset, sitting and data keying are required.
- Remote Eligibility: This position is full-time remote eligible.
U.S. Citizenship is Required for All Positions and Work on All Positions Must Be Completed in the Continental United States, Alaska, or Hawaii.
