Media Manager
CMU School of Drama
Carnegie Mellon Universitys School of Drama (SoD) seeks a full-time Media Manager to oversee the curricular, operational, and production support for the Video and Media Design (VMD) program. Grad and Undergrad students in the program actively participate in the SoDs dynamic season of productions, with close guidance from faculty and staff. This position supports the students' research and creative practice. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys tackling technical challenges, hands-on work, supporting diverse creative projects, and collaborating with a community of passionate makers. Position starts 3/10/25, or as soon as a candidate is identified.

Responsibilities:
- Expertise in live video system technology including knowledge of networking, video Interfaces, signals, and routing for entertainment technology.
- Experience in video projector maintenance and implementation.
- Theatrical and/or Live Event Rigging experience, specifically including counterweight line sets and chain motors.
- A Bachelor's Degree and 3 years of professional experience in technical theater and/or live event production, or an equivalent combination of skills, experiences and education that might uniquely enhance the VMD program.
