Who We’re Looking For

We make our security and compliance practices a top priority at ParentSquare and are seeking a Compliance Manager to lead our security and compliance efforts while also focusing on scaling and growing our practices. You are someone who is meticulous, organized, and adept at managing critical deadlines while comfortable working in a cross-collaborative environment. From maintaining compliance across various areas, project managing initiatives like internal audits, and overseeing the logistics of internal programs; you will balance routine and reactive tasks, manage monthly and annual security exercises, and champion a culture of security through processes and training. You are a results-driven person with a sincere passion for security alongside a passion for improving the lives of students.

This Role Will Include

• Management of compliance deadlines including periodically recurring compliance projects
• Routine security program maintenance
• Ownership of internal security and compliance audits
• Improving internal processes and operations
• Vendor compliance management
• Planning and oversight of annual commitments such as penetration testing and disaster recovery exercises
• Ensuring our company security policies are properly followed and tracked
• Carrying out and implementing security initiatives
  
  

Our Ideal Candidate Will Have The Following

• Experience managing compliance software such as Vanta
• 3-5 years of experience in IT security, IT risk management, compliance management, or related fields
• A history of successfully working with various stakeholders ranging from external customers to internal security teams
• Experience assessing and managing third party service providers
• Successful completion of prior audits or familiarity with supporting audits
• Experience with industry-standard security frameworks and related audit processes, such as SOC 2 and ISO 27001

The salary range for this role will be $80,000 to $120,000, DOE.
