Internship/Practicum

St. Ann’s Home & School has a limited number of internship/practicum openings at any given time. The acceptance decisions will be based on the needs of the agency, the ability for St. Ann’s to satisfy the school’s guidelines, St. Ann’s capability of fulfilling supervisory needs, financial implications to St. Ann’s, the timeliness of the request, and the individual “fit” for the department and position. St. Ann’s reserves the right to limit the number of internship/practicum positions and to fill those positions based on the best interests of the agency at any given time.

Based on the limited number of openings, even current employees are not guaranteed these positions. Internal staff members interested in an internship/practicum opportunity should speak with their direct supervisor and then the senior management team member associated with their department or program. Staff should seek out these opportunities 9 – 12 months ahead of the internship needs. St. Ann’s staff are NOT to seek out other St. Ann’s employees to fulfill any of their internship needs without permission from the internship coordinator.

In addition to this application, interested candidates should also submit a resume, list of internship/practicum guidelines, and course description. Applicants may also need to interview with administrative staff, complete a CORI and be fingerprinted.
