Homewise is seeking a licensed Associate Broker to add to our Real Estate Sales Team to support our mission of creating successful homeowners. The mission of the Associate Broker is to support the Associate Broker to help our customers become successful homebuyers by building trusting relationships and helping them acquire the right home that meets their needs at a fair value.

Responsibilities
- Support the Senior Associate Broker in writing a valid Purchase Contract for a new homebuyer. Act as an intermediary in negotiations between buyers and sellers, generally representing one or the other.
- Follow up on details needed for a property's successful closing and purchase. Confer with escrow companies, lenders, home inspectors, and pest control operators to ensure that terms and conditions of purchase agreements are met before closing dates.
- Coordinate property closings, oversee the signing of documents, and disbursement of funds.
- Regularly review property listings, trade journals, and relevant literature, and attend conventions, seminars, and staff and association meetings to remain knowledgeable about real estate markets.
- Works closely with other internal departments including but not limited to Home Purchase Advisors, Home Buyer Coaches, Real Estate Development, and Lending to ensure best practices in service provided to customers.
- Uses the Homewise, Inc. STARS database system to track client progress and Multiple Listing Service, Outlook, and other electronic tools to provide the best service to customers.

Education and Experience
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Must be licensed by the Real Estate Commission of New Mexico
Work Schedule
- Ability to travel as needed.
- Must be able to work flexible hours including evenings or weekends to show properties at times when it is convenient for clients.
Physical Requirements
- This is largely a mobile role; it requires the ability to move from building to building and throughout homes with customers.
- Must be able to occasionally lift up to 20 pounds
- Must be able to set up and take down multiple open house signs.
