Job Summary: The Vice President, HR Business Partner at Erlanger Health, reporting directly to the Chief Administrative Officer (CAO)/Chief Human Resources Officer, oversees HR Business Partners, the HR Call Center, HR Operations, and Childcare.

Education:

  • Required:
    • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration or related field.
    • Master's degree in a related field of study.
  • Preferred: N/A

Experience:

  • Required:
    • 7+ years of progressive HR leadership experience in a complex organization.
    • Direct Healthcare Experience required.
    • Strong knowledge of HR best practices, employment law, and regulatory compliance.
    • Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
    • Proven track record of effectively managing HR teams and driving organizational change.
    • Ability to think strategically and execute operational plans to achieve organizational objectives.
    • Experience in budget management and financial analysis.
    • Demonstrated ability to build and maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
    • Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
    • Commitment to fostering diversity, equity, and inclusion within the organization.

Department Position Summary:

The Vice President, HR Business Partner at Erlanger Health, reporting directly to the Chief Administrative Officer (CAO)/Chief Human Resources Officer, oversees HR Business Partners, the HR Call Center, HR Operations, and Childcare.

Responsibilities:

  • Establish foundational processes and streamline HR functions.
  • Provide guidance on employee relations and performance management matters.
  • Lead a team of HR professionals and measure the effectiveness of HR initiatives.
  • Collaborate with various HR areas and executive leadership to address divisional operations and employee concerns.
  • Maintain knowledge of legal and regulatory HR requirements to mitigate risks and ensure compliance.
  • Enhance Erlanger's talent management strategy through collaboration across all HR areas.
  • Manage operational and functional area budgets.
  • Provide HR insights related to business strategy and performance in meetings and one-on-one interactions.
  • Engage business leaders through change management and handle non-routine performance management issues.
  • Manage responses to executive inquiries and instill trust within the organization.
  • Align objectives with broader organizational goals, build effective teams, and implement contingency plans.
