Description
The Sr. HR Generalist is responsible for leading and supporting the daily Associate Relations and People Leaders within Associate Connect. They will serve as a consultative partner and subject matter expert within Associate Connect in areas of advanced associate relations matters, HR programs and services, talent lifecycle processes, and performance management. This role will support our Distribution Center and Stores function and will be located primarily in a Distribution Center setting.

This role will support our Distribution Center and Stores function and will be located primarily in a Distribution Center setting.
People Services Delivery
- Uphold Bath and Body Works values and standards of conduct by handling and resolving intensified HR matters including associate relations, investigations, asset protection and background check dispositions.
- Provides advice and counsel to associates and people leaders on associate relations, absence management and performance management.
- Identify and assess trends and risk within organization to drive initiatives, policy improvements and overall culture.
- Collaborate with Tier leaders, HR Business Partners and people leaders on associate relations, performance management and trends impacting area of support.
- Ensure policies, procedure and practices are adhered to in compliance with federal, state, and/or municipal laws
- Deliver Best-in-Class HR experience to associates using effective communication through high volume interactions face-to-face, by phone and through written channels.
- Support and complete HR and change initiatives in a fast-paced retail environment.
- Execute and lead the upskilling and reskilling of team members on strategies and solutions including the relaunch of existing HR initiatives or the introduction of new concepts
- Support development and execution of a human resources strategy and services that corresponds with the company’s goals to strengthen and sustain the company.

Qualifications
- 3+ years of demonstrated experience in a Human Resources function with experience leading advanced associate relations matters. Experience working in a retail environment and/or distribution center a plus, but not required
- Authority in managing associate relations, performance management, case management, and other people strategies.
- Ability to manage and lead high volume HR teams across multiple business units, buildings and geographic markets
- Validated ability to lead through change and navigate the fast pace demands of a retail environment
- Knowledge and expertise in employment laws and regulation
- Proficient and up to date in current HR technology, systems and analytics
- Excellent critical thinking, decision making skills and customer service skills with demonstrated ability to deescalate highly emotional situations
- Exceptional leadership, communication and interpersonal skills
- Bachelor's Degree or equivalent work experience
