Nanny for 6-Month-Old and 3-Year-Old

A bit about us:

I’m a laid-back veterinarian and single Mom so I work long days. We have 2 cats, Biscuit and Brioche. I try to incorporate my kids into my daily life, so I often take them to restaurants or to brunch with my friends. We strive for a peaceful and balanced lifestyle.

My 6-month-old baby boy is often an easy baby; if he doesn’t sleep well then he may be grumpy. Sometimes he just wants to be held, and sometime he likes to be challenged. If he could talk, he would ask for a fun and loving nanny!

My 3-year-old daughter loves arts and crafts, being read to, kitchen time, and mixing things in bowls. She has a bold personality, and she likes being treated just like an adult. We don’t baby-talk around her. When she has big emotions, I let her express herself, take a deep breath, and reset. She goes to preschool on Thursday mornings and is almost potty-trained.

A bit about you:

You are punctual, reliable, nurturing, and fun! You are confident in your abilities and good at setting boundaries with those tiny tyrants known as toddlers. You are an active nanny who is comfortable working in a home with stairs. You enjoy conversing with children including narrating the day and reading to children to help their verbal skills grow.

Job Duties: Bottle feeding, diaper changes, following nap routine, engaging in age-appropriate play, reading to children, communicating, following routine, driving children in your vehicle (I will provide car seats) to park outings, etc. Household duties include child-related cleaning as you go, children’s laundry, meal prep/cooking for the kids, preparing formula and bottle feeding the baby, occasionally picking up a couple of grocery items (optional) and feeding the cats.

Qualifications: 1-2 years of childcare experience, reliable transportation, clean driving record, valid Driver’s License, good communication skills, comfortable with cats, and willing to work with children when they are mildly ill.

Schedule:Wednesday/Thursday/Friday (6:30a-5:30p)

Starting ASAP!

Pay: $25-$28 an hour
