Class A Drivers - No Touch Reefer Freight

Class A drivers with 6 months OTR or Regional experience in the last year run 23 days and be home for five days. This is all no touch reefer freight with occasional dry van freight with 65% drop and hook. Drivers average weekly pay is $1600-$1900/WK with the company paying for your health insurance. If you don’t want the company health insurance you will make $1700-$2000/WK.

Drivers will run mostly the eastern part of the US but on occasion may go out west.

Must be able to drive both van and reefer.

Currently only hiring from East of I-35 and north of I-70 but not hiring in WI or MI.

Starting pay is .62CPM for the first 2000 miles driven and then $1.00/Mile for all miles thereafter each week. So a driver that runs 2000 miles would earn $1240. Drivers who run 2500 will earn $1740/WK. 3000 miles in a week is $2240. The average per week is $1600-$2000/WK and that is with the company paying life insurance.

$2000 Sign on bonus with $750 paid on first pay check, $750 paid on second pay check and $500 6 months on the job. Drivers may have a rider after 90 days, must be 10 years or older and immediate family.

Benefits including company paid health insurance start after 90 days.

Trucks are either Anthem or Mack Pinnacles and average 2-5 years old. Trucks do not have cameras.

Orientation is 2.5 days and pays $300.

CDL Class A Reefer Driver Requirements

  • Must be 23 with at least 6 months of verifiable Class A OTR or Regional Dry Van or Reefer experience in the last year.
  • Only hiring in MO, IL, IA and OH. Must live north I-70 in all those states to be eligible.
  • No more than 2 moving violations (none major) in the last three years.
  • No more than 2 DOT Recordable Preventable accidents in the last three years as long as there were no injuries, rear end, jack knife or rollover.
  • May have 2 incidents in the last three years but cannot have more than preventable accidents or incidents in the last three years.
  • If you have a speeding ticket over 20 miles per hour in the last three years you may not have any other moving violations during that time.
  • No more than 3 jobs in the last year and no more than 6 in the last three years.
  • No felonies in the last seven years and no misdemeanors in the last three years. Must be off of probation or parole for five years for felony and 3 years for misdemeanor.
