Director of Admissions Qualifications & Responsibilities:

Director of Admissions Qualifications & Responsibilities:
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Admissions experience in LTC/SNF preferred
- Registered Nurse or Social Worker preferred
- Records Information concerning inquires, admissions and discharges and assists with daily census reports
- Coordinates the inquiry process and facilitates the admission process including completing required paperwork
- Appropriately notifies facility representatives of admission updates
- Keep monthly record of census, matching up numbers with Business Office to ensure accuracy at the end of each month
- Provide information on referral leads, admissions, and discharges on a weekly basis or as requested
- Communicates effectively with the Social Security Department, Nursing and Business Office regarding bed availability
- Evaluates referrals to determine admission candidacy, including visiting referrals at home or involved with community agency as appropriate
- Maintain close contact with all referral sources
- Notify hospitals of bed availability regularly
- Positive, energetic, and creative individual
- Ability to work independently or part of a group
- Computer knowledge
- Schedule: Full time
