Shift: Monday through Friday

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Accounting or comparable degree.
  • 2+ years of supervision experience required.
  • Excellent technical language skills, both verbal and written.
  • Demonstrated ability to handle confidential matters and sensitive information.
  • High proficiency in Google Suite, Microsoft Suite, Zoom, etc.
  • Two years experience in progressively responsible positions with financial oversight duties.
  • Sage financial software experience preferred.
  • ADP and Payroll experience preferred.
  • Must have a driving record that permits coverage under C@P’s company insurance.

Essential Job Duties Include (But Not Limited To):

  • Supervise and support the Finance team:
  • Provide responsive and supportive supervision to the Finance team in accordance with C@P values.
  • Review finance processes to ensure effective operations.
  • Review finance reports weekly to ensure C@P finances are in compliance with relevant regulations and funders.
  • Attend required training and learn policies and procedures for C@P operations.
  • Financial Analysis, Reporting and Compliance:
  • Assess revenue sources and develop mechanisms for monitoring spend down in accordance with grantor requirements.
  • Develop overall cash flow analysis and pro forma that includes reports of unrestricted cash and long-term funding for core operations.
  • Oversee all aspects of audit preparation and support of the audit process.
  • Develop and implement policies and procedures to ensure fidelity to best practices in fiscal management.
  • Develop process for targeted financial analysis to be embedded into the monthly reporting to assist Church at the Park Board of Directors and Finance Committee make proactive decisions.
  • Verify the effectiveness of Church at the Park’s per site model, ensuring the basic model of costs to build and operate sites is reflected in the accounting and reporting.
  • Manage Payroll:
  • Oversee bi-weekly payroll for C@P employees.
  • Coordinate with HR on final checks, pay draws, PTO payouts, documenting leave time, etc.
  • Manage ADP system and relationship with payroll vendors.
  • Oversee Asset Management:
  • Monitor property re-investment and depreciation schedules.
  • Manage property financials.
  • Maintain rent schedules and property pro-formas.

Work environment:

Primarily an office environment. Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk. High contact with C@P staff. Some contact with people experiencing homelessness and outside volunteers. Must be able to push, pull, and/or lift 15 pounds or less. Close quarters with vulnerable people including individuals without stable living situations who may be struggling with mental health and substance use concerns. Indoor/Outdoor work environment with frequent interruptions and demands, and occasional unpredictable behavior. Driving between Church at the Park operated and managed sites.

Transportation Policy:

To receive and maintain authorization to drive a Non Profit vehicle, a driver must have a valid driver’s license of the state they reside in. Employees who are hired with an out of state license will be given 30 days (subject to DMV availability) to acquire a license for the state in which they reside. Drivers must have at least (2) years driving experience and be at least 18 years old. In the past three (3) years, drivers should have no more than: Two (2) At-Fault Accidents or Three (3) Minor Moving Violations, or Four (4) Non-Moving Violations. In the past four (4) years, drivers should have zero (0) Major Moving Violations.
