We are in search of a Marketing Advisor to join our Marketing and Communications department in Spokane, Washington (Headquarters) or Rocklin, California. This full-time position reports to the Senior Marketing Advisor and represents customers' interests and the organization's mission and objectives to internal and external stakeholders. The person serves as a Marketing lead for specific business units, keeping the customer at the center of all activities.

This position is eligible for a hybrid work schedule and one-time home office stipend after initial training period.

Compensation Information

The base salary range for this position in Spokane, Washington is:

Level II: $70,800 - $110,800; bonus at target is 10% of salary.

Level III: $78,800 - $122,100; bonus at target is 12% of salary.

The base salary range for this position in Rocklin, California is:

Level II: $81,100 - $127,200; bonus at target is 10% of salary.

Level III: $89,300 - $140,600; bonus at target is 12% of salary.

Job Requirements

  • Lead development of marketing strategies and plans in collaboration with business development teams and marketing leaders.
  • Act in a Marketing Lead capacity, serving as the point person for specific business development teams and working closely with leaders to implement, measure, and report on the success of marketing tactics that achieve team and business goals.
  • Identify prospect sources and collaborate with business unit teams to design and implement lead generation activities.
  • Engage with business development teams to measure, assess, and refine the impact of marketing, advertising and business development activities on customer growth and retention.
  • Represent the marketing program to field teams, championing AgWest's brand to ensure marketing activities and materials align with standards. Develop, present, and regularly communicate priorities outlined in the marketing plan.
  • Collaborate with project teams, representing the customers' voice and providing marketing support to accomplish the project objectives and deliver high-quality results.
  • Discover, identify and share changes in market activities, customer needs and field team priorities with the Marketing team and leadership group. Gather competitor and marketing intelligence, to guide ongoing planning.
  • Support business development team's planning and execution of regional events including trade shows industry events, customer meetings, etc.
  • In collaboration with AgWest's research team, represent business development teams and the customer to design and execute research priorities. Inform, support the development and socialize market share data, customer experience research and journey mapping.
  • In collaboration with AgWest's marketing team, support the development and updating of advertising, marketing and sales support materials by assisting with planning, writing, editing and content review.
  • Support customer education planning, coordination and execution of deliverables. Regularly seek feedback from business development teams.
  • Perform all duties and maintain all standards in accordance with company policies, procedures, and internal controls.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Minimum Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, or related field, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Solid knowledge of sales, business and marketing strategies and principles.
  • Capability to adjust and work with various teams and build positive working relationships.
  • Advanced presentation skills and ability to work within and meet deadlines.
  • Ability to effectively communicate insights and ideas.
  • Solid understanding of market dynamics, and customer requirements.
