Job Summary: A Manufacturing Technician is responsible for the assembly, testing and maintenance of machinery and components for the Water Mist system.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manufacturing and Assembly of Water Mist Equipment.
- Dimension and component layout, including mounting.
- Setting up Test Area for FAT testing of Water Mist Equipment.
- Handling of Water Mist Equipment and Prep for shipping.
- Maintain red line drawing mark-ups of changes required during fabrication.
- Communicate red line changes to for revision prior to completion to Production Manager
- Minimal electrical responsibility to be performed under Production Manager Supervision
- Other duties as assigned.
What We Are Looking For:
- High School Diploma or GED
- 2+ years of mechanical experience and skillset
- 1+ years of electrical experience and skillset
- Prior experience working with hand tools
- Ability to read engineered drawings
- Ability to follow directions
Physical Requirements
- While performing the essential functions of this job the employee is regularly required to stand, walk, use hands to finger, handle or feel, reach with hands or arms, stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl, and is occasionally required to lift and/or move heavy objects
- Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds
- Comfortable working in various environments, including industrial facilities, commercial buildings and outdoor settings, which can potentially expose employees to noise, dust, heat stress, thermal stress, low light conditions, heights, etc.
- Capable of standing, walking, bending and kneeling for extended periods
- Ability to work at heights and in confined spaces as needed, which would require use of fall protection equipment and other safety devices
- Capable of using hand and power tools, including specialty tools resulting in cutting, grinding, drilling, fastening and other methods resulting in torque, vibration, noise, etc.
