Position Description
The Multimedia Designer is responsible for creating high-quality visual content across various media platforms. This includes, but is not limited to, designing graphics, animations, videos, and interactive experiences for online trainings, websites, presentations, interactive infographics, and corporate branding. The ideal candidate is a creative and skilled individual with a strong understanding of design principles, visual storytelling, and current industry trends.
Responsibilities
Most work is performed in a highly productive and fast-paced virtual office environment requiring sufficient internet connection with prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer. Employees must be able to maintain a quiet, noise-free remote office space that is free of distractions. Some in-person work may be required if needed to assist with photo/video shoots, live-streams, or in-house printing.

Position Description
The Multimedia Designer is responsible for creating high-quality visual content across various media platforms. This includes, but is not limited to, designing graphics, animations, videos, and interactive experiences for online trainings, websites, presentations, interactive infographics, and corporate branding. The ideal candidate is a creative and skilled individual with a strong understanding of design principles, visual storytelling, and current industry trends.
Responsibilities
- Conceptualize, design, and produce high-quality visual content, including:
- Interactive Experiences-Design and develop interactive elements for online trainings, websites, presentations, and other digital platforms
- Animations-motion graphics, gifs, explainer videos, and interactive SVG animations
- Video-Edit and perform post-production on videos for various platforms, assist with photo and video shoots, live-streaming, and webinars
- Graphics-logos, branding materials, social media graphics, infographics, illustrations, banners, and advertisements
- Provide accessibility components to completed projects, including alt tags, closed captioning, and reading order as required
- Stay up-to-date on the latest design trends and technologies
- Follow company procedure related to brand consistency and quality control (QC)
- Collaborate with Instructional Designers, Communications teams, and other departments to understand project goals and develop creative solutions
- Manage and maintain working files, video, and image libraries
- Complete multiple tasks within expected deadlines
- Self-manage timelines and work requirements
- Other related duties and assignments, as required
- Bachelor's degree in graphic design, media developer, or related field preferred
- Minimum of 2-3 years of professional experience in multimedia design or development that demonstrates talent, originality, and software proficiency
- Experience working with Microsoft Office, Teams, and SharePoint on Windows OS
- Proficient in industry-standard design software, including:
- Adobe Creative Suite-Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, After Effects, Premiere Pro, Media Encoder, and XD
- Articulate 360 Suite-Storyline 360, Rise, Review, Reach
- Figma/Sketch (optional)
- Resolve/FCPX/Filmora (optional)
- SAAS/Canva/Visme/Loom/Riverside.fm (optional)
- AI Tools/Claude/ChatGPT/DALL-E 3/Midjourney/Synthesia (optional)
- Strong understanding of design principles, typography, color theory, and layout
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Strong attention to detail, organizational, problem-solving, and decision-making skills
- Ability to effectively manage multiple projects and tasks with tight deadlines
- Well-founded personal and professional ethics
- Portfolio showcasing a strong understanding of design principles and a diverse range of creative skills
