Job Summary:
Aesthetics Medical Spa is seeking a highly organized and experienced full-time Patient Financial Counselor.
A Salesforce and Financial coordinator offers financial advice and assistance to patients regarding medical bills. They are the liaison between patients and financials; often coordinating payments and answering questions. Their job is to handle financial obligations so that patients and aesthetics specialists can focus on quality patient care.
Responsibilities of a Patient Financial Counselor include:
- Communicate with patients on the phone
- Appropriately document and report payment information
- Educate patients about payment options, including patient credit plans
- Update patient accounts and balances
- Coordinate Allie points systems and other patient incentives used toward payment of services
- Works closely with Patient Care Coordinator and owners
- A/R auditing of accounts
- Management of (QuickBooks) activity related to accounts payable as needed
- Management of receipt management and other financial items as needed
Essential Job Responsibilities:
· · Meet bi-monthly with the board of directors team of Summit Aesthetics to provide revenue cycle updates, as well as financial updates to the practice.
- Feedback and education to the board and staff members to any changes in regulatory rules and coding.
- Treatment plan coordinator assistant including but not limited to:
o Financial agreement creation and coordination with patients
o Pre-treatment estimates creation and coordination for aesthetic procedures
o Patient communication and obtaining financial consent and payments from the clients prior to procedure
Experience/Skills:
Required:
Three years of medical billing environment.
Experience in Aesthetics and or Plastic surgery
Strong background in financial management and supervisory skills over multiple personnel
Knowledge of salesforce
Ability to organize and prioritize work to meet strict deadlines.
Computer skills to include mainframe and PC applications.
Must be self-motivated, service-oriented, and have excellent communication skills (written and oral).
Individual must have leadership, analytical, oral and written communication and interpersonal skill as well as experience in accounts payable practices and financial report creation.

All responsibilities are essential job functions.
Working condition:
Requires sitting for long periods of time. Requires using the computer for the majority of the time and thus utilizing eye concentration. Regular lifting of >10 lbs required with occasional lifting of up to 50 lbs.
Hours:
Full Time /40 hours per week (Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday/ 8 am-5:30 pm)
