Inside Sales Representative - Public Sector

About This Role
This role is remote based in the US.
Generate account growth from existing UScellular Public Sector and Government customers through outbound calling and outreach efforts. You will help our customers achieve their business needs by fostering great relationships. Responsible for achieving sales quota by skillfully and assertively marketing the value of UScellular's business solutions and driving decisions on mobile and IoT buying.
Key Responsibilities
- Handle a base of Public Sector/Government and small and medium business customers to ensure retention; use cross sales techniques and up sell to new and existing customers.
- Strategically assess and achieve client success via sales techniques, including effective questioning, objection handling and competitive selling.
- Build strong relationships with public sector/government and small to medium business customers through strategic account reviews and customer lifecycle interactions, targeted at achieving customer loyalty, retention and profitable account growth.
- Work with business customers and influence technology decision makers.
- Manage and prioritize a customer portfolio, demonstrate ability to achieve quotas to drive growth.
- Build compelling narratives and utilize storytelling as a client engagement strategy.
- Maintain accurate, up-to-date customer records in the organization's customer relationship management platform (CRM).
Minimum Requirements
- High School diploma or state equivalency.
- Fluent in outbound customer contact areas - outbound calling, e-mails, texts, and content delivery.
- Meticulous with CRM activity documentation and customer response monitoring.
- Ability to quickly overcome objections.
- Strong organization skills and attention to details.
- Strong listening, verbal, and presentation skills.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in government account sales with knowledge of government procurement, contract process, proposals, and sales cycle.
- Experience concentrated in wireless or related telecommunications industry.
- Three or more years of successful Inside sales experience, with proven track record to meet or overachieve goals.
